There are several organs you can live without, actually!
sure. I know a couple of them like a kidney obviously, spleen, etc
but more like if you were to take one out which one is the least annoying to lose? like quick recovery time, you won't be taking drugs for the rest of your life, etc

Like, obviously you can lose one kidney, but I would never call it unimportant.

For most extraneous is the appendix. Scientists still aren't sure what it's function is, and it's often removed. If that's not exciting enough since it's so small, gallbladder or testes.
Easiest to remove would be the eye.

back home that process is more of an annoyance than anything else but here I have to deal with the longer term consequences. so. been getting people to heal me up and grow it back for me when I've done it before, but the idea I have in mind it needs to be gone for good

That's what I was thinking of, yeah! I'm sure there'll be huge ones to overcome in the future, just like we had to deal with the commanders at the last defense academy.

Last Defense Academy? It's really an in abstract. It's built like one but there's only 15 of us and it's not like we actually had classes.
We were selected for the task of defending humanity from invaders because of our unique ability to use hemoanima.

worth noting that it's just me. not how magic works in our world generally cept in broad strokes. long story short is that being a god is also a little bit metaphorical. meaning that your most famous legends start to effect your reality. so in my case I'm the genesis of self-sacrifice within my pantheon. gave up my leg to create the land. died once to become the sun. et cetera
so when I want to pull off some cool shit, I still need to give up part of myself
normally not a huge deal when you're fully divine since I can just regenerate it or make a new solution to what's missing but
in a human body at the moment so can't exactly do that

That's interesting! I suppose it makes sense that your powers as a god would stem from from how you're remembered. After all, in a way, belief is what makes a god a god in the first place.
